Rebecca Rucker
Rebecca Rucker received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a LPC Supervisor training university masters and doctoral level students in counseling and psychotherapy, especially in acute psychiatric settings.
She is co-owner of the Center for Clinical Supervision, Consultation and Ethical Practice.
In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Rebecca maintains a private practice in the Galleria area as a Board Certified Coach working with men and women who seek to improve their work performance and expand their career options.
Over the last 20 years, she has delivered ethics trainings to the national organizations of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy as well as the MFT state chapters in Texas and Tennessee. As part of her ethics presentations, she has presented five hour training institutes on Supervision to the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
Brent Locaste Wilken
Brent LoCaste-Wilken is currently Manager of the Employee Assistance Program at Texas Children's Hospital. Brent’s 12 year tenure at Texas Children’s has included such accomplishments as the creation of a full service, highly integrated, staff model EAP and special acknowledgements for programs to assist nurses with Grief and Loss and patient/family aggression, financial assistance, hurricane response, stress management programing, substance abuse prevention, and many others.
Brent is also co-owner of the Center for Clinical Supervision, Consultation and Ethical Practice.
Brent has a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Baylor University. Besides his LCSW, he is also certified in Grief Recovery, CISM, EMDR, SAP and ROPES. He has received specific training in play therapy, cognitive therapy, and Gestalt techniques.
Brent has a specialty in social work administration and supervision from the National Association of Social Workers. He currently volunteers on two advisory committees, the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses and the University of Houston, Graduate School of Social Work Clinical Concentration Committee.
Brent is an adjunct professor at the University of Houston, Graduate School of Social Work where he teaches Supervision and Consultation and Transtheoretical: Brief Therapy Interventions. He also serves as a field placement supervisor throughout the year for students from the University of Houston and Baylor University. Additionally, he supervises individuals seeking advanced licensure in social work.
Brent enjoys reading, Tai Chi, riding his motorcycle, and off-road excursions and weekend trips to local bed and breakfasts with his wife Lotus.
